Physical, Mental and Spiritual Balance

Take a moment and consider how you view yourself.

Do you feel that overall you live more through your physical self, your mental self, or your spiritual self?

The answer most likely would vary depending on what you’re doing and your mood at the time.

Well, I’m here to tell you that in fact, we are all spiritual beings first and foremost.

Do you want a very powerful tool to help you through life?

Here it is:

Remember that you are a spiritual being first and foremost!

Remembering this, and letting it soak into the core of your knowing, can turn into your superpower to deal with anything that comes your way.

You were a spiritual being first- that is your original quality. Your spiritual self then decided to come here to Earth in human physical and mental form. As soon as you were born in human form, a sort of veil was put over some, or much, of your spiritual side.

So, you, in human form, are made up of mind, body and spirit.

While in human form, we usually use our mental and physical selves throughout the day.

We go from place to place, do one thing after the other, and think thoughts all the livelong day.

In spending so much time focusing on our physical and mental sides, we unfortunately squish our spirit and become unbalanced. This leads to physical, mental and spiritual anguish.

If we remember our spirit, we’ll not only have mind, body, spirit balance, but will also:

  • Forgive ourselves for our mistakes
  • Forgive others for their mistakes
  • Understand that life isn’t meant to be perfect
  • Understand that life isn’t meant to go exactly as we wish
  • Feel fulfilled and at peace
  • Accept ourselves, situations, others and life as they are
  • More easily flow with life
  • Be more in touch with our intuition
  • Feel more energetic and vibrant
  • Feel a strong sense of self-purpose and the meaning of life
  • Feel more positively connected to the spirits of others
  • Suffer less from anxiety and depression
  • Suffer fewer body aches and illnesses
  • Recover faster from major and minor surgeries
  • Feel an understanding for the purpose of suffering
  • Enjoy an overall sense of contentedness and good mood
  • Connect more strongly with universal wisdom and joy

Here are some suggestions to help you live through your spirit:

  • Sit still and quietly
  • Focus your mind on one simple detail so that your thought processes slow down
  • Breathe deeply and slowly
  • Imagine the glow of your spirit shining more brightly
  • Imagine sending out happy vibes to yourself and those around you
  • Remember what you believe in your core about spiritual truth, whatever that is for you
  • Remember that love is the only thing that is real
  • Remember that fear is an illusion (fear is an illusion because humans make up things to fear.. for example, future worry or things that are out of our control)
  • Repeat positive mantras to yourself
  • Sing uplifting songs
  • Pray and/or meditate through every struggle
  • Love and respect yourself and your place in this world
  • Clear your chakras and aura energetically (visualization works!)
  • Try new holistic healing approaches, such as reiki, acupuncture, sound healing and yoga

(These are just some ideas- it’s your superpower, so I’m sure soon you’ll be able to add miles to this list!)

Remember to use your superpower wisely, and you’ll happily flow with life more easily.
